Mallory and Trey have been an absolute dream to work with over these past few months. A little back story, I met Mallory when working for an amazing St. Augustine Wedding Planning company as an assistant coordinator. Immediately felt connected like I had already known her for a lifetime. Towards the end of the night she jokingly mentioned having me be her wedding photographer that she would be getting engaged soon. Within days she actually inquired! My excitement was through the roof to be able to document her love story as it hits so many milestones.
Trey sneakily reached out and planned two shoots, a surprise proposal and this shoot, their engagement. She knew the engagement was coming soon but had no idea that there was gonna be a photographer there to capture it. Fast forward a bit, it’s time for this shoot. We planned an epic sunrise beach shoot in Palm Coast/St. Augustine with her, Trey, and their pup Fly (he’s literally the cutest thing I’ve ever laid my eyes on).
When you’re planning your engagement shoot or your elopement keep in mind where the sun sets and rises for glowy photos like these. On the east coast of Florida the sun rises over the ocean and sets on the west coast of the state. There are many perks to having a sunrise shoot like a) you can plan a breakfast date afterwards b) you have the whole day ahead of you c) you’ll get your sneak peeks by the end of the day usually.
Beyond excited to get these two married in Tennessee in 2025 at The Magnolia Venue in the Smoky Mountains.
Ok ok, I can’t wait any longer to share these cuties with you! Keep scrolling š
